About Chef Gauri
Chef Gauri has over 20 years of work experience, and has spent the last 10 years building one of the most loved confectionary brands – Confect out of her home kitchen. She has a lot of experience with running a bakery from home, operating a cloud kitchen as well as running a bakery popularly known as G’s Patisserie in Delhi. She has worked with huge corporate clients like Big Basket for breads, PVR cinemas for desserts and several restaurants for dessert supplies.
Her Brand Confect is one of the largest confectionery manufacturers in India and she is the only one to take an Indian brand for baking to international waters. Confect today sells in the USA and online on Amazon, Flipkart, Big Basket, Blink it, Jio Mart, as well as reliance stores across India. Confect today is a million dollar company.
She graduated from Lady Shri Ram college (one of the top colleges in the country till date) with a B. Com (Hons.) followed by an MBA at the University of Oxford, UK. She is the only chef to have made it to the prestigious IIM Bangalore 10000 women program not once but twice and won the case study competition for her success with Confect. She was featured amongst the top 5 women Entrepreneurs in India at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit and was amongst the top 10 startups at the World's Food India.
